The most inspirational persons/mentors in my life are my parents.

 

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is don't be afraid to ask questions in class. Try to get involved on campus.

 

I'm from a small town right outside Des Moines, IA. I enjoy going for long runs and hanging out with friends. I play rugby on campus and am involved in a lot of different organizations. My favorite thing in the world is sports!

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is to learn to balance school and fun. Try not to sign up for classes too early in the morning, you might regret it. Be open to people and ideas.

 

I love to sit down, read a book and listen to music. I enjoy the finer things in life.

The most inspirational persons/mentors in my life is my mom, she inspires me because she is a very strong person and she can get me through anything.

 

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is make sure you stay organized. Go to all of your classes and develop relationships with your professors.

 

I'm going to be a sophomore. I am fun and
outgoing and I like to play sports for fun. I'm the youngest of two and my family and friends are very important to me.

The most inspirational persons/mentors in my life are my parents. My mom is a triple amputee who is energetic and positive despite her lack of limbs. My dad encourages me in everything I do and supports my family.

 

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is challenge your self! Don't be afraid to sit in front and speak up in class.

 

I am a junior/senior. I have red hair and play rugby. I have five siblings and live on a farm in Scotia, Nebraska. I love listening to country
music and country dancing.

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is if you get homework, do it! As well as enjoy college and don't stress out about it.

 

I am originally from a small town in southwest Minnesota named Leota. I recently moved to a small acreage outside of Carroll, NE. I work on a 3500 acre farm with 500 dairy heifers. I enjoy farming and working with my hands. In my free time I am either hunting, fishing, riding
four-wheelers or grilling at home. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. You will most likely find me in the library, at home or working on the farm.

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is never be afraid to ask for help. Join activities on campus and get to know people. Go to class and do your homework, use your time wisely!


Remember, college is about having fun, but you also need to prioritize your time and activities.

 

I am from Tilden, NE and live on a farm. I am senior. I have one brother, Eric, who graduated from Northeast Community College. I love hanging out with family and friends, going to movies, listening to music and meeting new friends. I am also getting married on June 23, 2012 and I am very excited to start another chapter in my life!

Best advice I can give an incoming freshman is go to class! Attendance is a key factor that lies between success and failure. Don't let class get you down though, make new friends during your college career.

 

I am from Omaha, NE and I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism. You can always call me a great friend. I love geography and politics, they are very important to me as my double majors. I also love sports, the weather, surfing the web and a whole lot more!
