Physical Sciences & Mathematics
Our department consists of faculty in chemistry,
earth and atmospheric sciences,
mathematics and physics. We offer many programs of
study, including pre-professional programs in engineering,
pharmacy, and medicine. We strive to create a total
quality educational experience in the physical sciences
and mathematics for all students by constantly improving
teaching, programs, and facilities as well as being
role models in our civic and professional activities.
Our faculty have many diverse interests including
the Mars project, astronomy and mathematics in children's
literature.
We are very proud to house the Dale
Planetarium, the only planetarium in Northeast
Nebraska. Shows to K-12 classes are available upon
request.
