HHPS: Graduate Programs Admission Requirements

MSE and MS Degree Requirements

Candidates in HHPS must complete a minimum of 36 hours and maintain an overall minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidates can select from two options, a file paper or thesis. A file paper is a written work that is agreed upon by the student and their graduate advisor. It may be the completion of a research study that is written in a form ready for publication. In most cases it is the result of research the student has completed in conjunction with a class (i.e. special project, independent study). The thesis option is typically for students who plan to complete a doctorate and involves a more formal research process.

Admission Requirement - MSOM

Applicants must have a BS/BA degree from an accredited institution, minimum 2.75 overall GPA, and a minimum composite GRE (Verbal + Quantitative) score of 280. The analytical writing score from the GRE will be used to facilitate student assessment.

Candidates in the MS can choose, with the approval of their advisor, a scholarly project, file paper, and/or internship to complete their degree program.
