HHPS: Graduate Assistants for 2012-2013
James, originally from Sioux Falls, SD, is a 2011 graduate of Augustana College. He played five years of football for the Vikings while earning a B.A. in both Communication/Business and Sport Management. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Sport Management at Wayne State. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, working out, golfing, and relaxing with friends and family. He has interned with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League and has just finished working for the City of Sioux Falls. WSC Contact: 402-375-7140, RI 013E.
Brock Yossi
Brock is a 2012 graduate of Buena Vista University, where he earned his B.A. in Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching. Brock participated in Baseball at Buena Vista University, where the Beavers made a trip to the D-III College World Series. He is pursuing his Masters Degree in Sport Management at Wayne State College. In his free time, Brock enjoys golfing, working out, and hanging out with family and friends. Sarah Novak Sarah is a 2012 Peru State College graduate from Howells, NE. She graduated with a B.S. in Sport and Exercise Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis in Sport Management. Sarah transferred from Southeast Community College to Peru to continue her education and volleyball career. During her fifth year at Peru State, she was the Student Assistant volleyball coach. Chad Pitkin
Chad Pitkin graduated from Callaway High School in Callaway NE in 2006. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management and also minored in business administration and public administration at Wayne State College. Pitkin spent a year in Detroit at the University of Detroit Mercy as the Facilities Intern. He also gained experience working as a game day intern for the Omaha Lancers of the USHL and was also an administrative intern for the Omaha Royals(Storm Chasers), the AAA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Brett Foster
Brett is a 2011 graduate of University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, AR, where he earned his B.S. in Physical Education. Brett has played football at Missouri State University and Mesa State and played basketball and ran track at the University of Great Falls in Montana. Paul McCawley
Paul is a 2012 graduate of Wayne State College, where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Science. Paul is originally from Rising City, Nebraska, and in the Spring of 2012, he completed an internship at The University of Nebraska Lincoln within the Strength and Conditioning Department. At UNL, Paul worked in the weight room with the Track and Field, Baseball, Gymnastics, and Wrestling teams. Paul’s interests include athletics, weight lifting, hanging out with family and friends, and anything fitness related. He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Exercise Science.
