Nicholas Allman

Major of the Year Physical Education

Nick is a senior Physical Education major at WSC.  He chose a career in Physical Education because he has a passion for physical fitness and finds it very rewarding to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for fitness with others.  In addition, his mother has been an inspiration to his career serving as a Physical Education teacher at Bryan Middle and Omaha South High Schools for the past 10 years.  Dr. Kevin Hill associate professor of Physical Education said “Nick consistently exceeds my expectations for a pre-professional physical educator.  His work in the classroom has been stellar in every way.  In addition, as a student teacher he stepped in and took over classes immediately and functioned in a manner one would expect of an experienced educator.  Nick is currently student-teaching in the Bellevue Public Schools at Fort Crook Elementary and Bellevue West High School.  He hopes to find a teaching position in the Omaha area, but believes any job will be rewarding.  Nick is the son of Mary and Kevin Allman originally from Mason City, Iowa.
