Health, Human Performance and Sport

Rice Auditorium

Rice houses the offices and classrooms of the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Sport, as well as the offices of Wayne State College Wildcat athletics. Included in the facility is the Human Performance Lab, a varsity weight room, Carlson Natatorium, our competition sized indoor swimming pool, locker rooms, and Dance and Aerobics studio. Rice also includes a 1,500 seat Gymnasium which hosts WSC basketball and volleyball, numerous concerts, performances, and indoor graduation ceremonies. The building also contains one of the campus computer labs.

Recreation Center

Attached to Rice is the Recreation Center, housing several racquetball courts, a student access exercise equipment facility, and a multipurpose area with indoor tennis, volleyball, basketball, and track areas. The Recreation Center is used by students, staff, faculty, and community members and is also the site for many of the events and activities offered through the wellness program.
