Sport Management: Internships

The NASPE-NASSM Curricular Standards require both a practicum and internship experience in the preparation of sport managers. These experiences allow the student to function as a sport manager learning and/or further enhancing professional attitudes, behaviors, and values. The internship is a full-time work experience in which the student becomes part of an organization's culture, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
