Please take time to look around our pages. The Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership is one of the largest departments at Wayne State and the largest in the School of Education and Counseling.

 

This is the department where you can find information on both undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of areas. If you are interested in finding out more information in Elementary Education and the various endorsements you may  click on the approptiate links for further information. Our department also houses the education courses required for all of our Secondary programs and endorsements as well. Our department is also the home of the largest graduate programs offered at Wayne State. Our highly qualified faculty with terminal degrees and decades of experience as educators, educational administrators (principals, superintendents etc.) educational researchers will work with you as advisors. professors and mentors  in one of our Masters of Science of Education -Curricullum and Instruction programs, our Masters of  Science in Education - Educational Administration / Leadership  and our Specialist in Education degree (the highest degree offered by Wayne State College).
