The Special Education Program is a collaborative and consultation based professional preparation program within the School of Education & Counseling. This program requires each preservice teacher to have completed a program of study in (1) General Education; (2) Professional Education; and (3) Special Education speciality studies. The Special Education Field Endorsement, being a teacher education program, is governed by all requirements established and set forth by the School of Education & Counseling.

 

*** All WSC Special Education majors must make application and be accepted into the WSC Teacher Education program in order to enroll in ANY 300 / 400 level professional education and/or Special Education coursework.

 

*** Students are required to meet and confer with his/her advisor EACH semester in order to enroll for classes..
