Academic Programs

Counseling & Special Education

 

The Department of Counseling and Special Education offers both graduate and undergraduate programs. In Counseling undergraduate students may enroll in a program in Human Service Counseling and graduate students may choose counseling programs in School, Community and Higher Education. In Special Education undergraduate students may enroll in the Mildly/Moderately Handicapped
K-12 program and graduate students may choose the Special Educator option or the Instructional Manager option.

>Higher Education Counseling

 

>Licensed Alcohol & Drug
   Counselor (LADC)

Iowa school counselors need to complete the Community Counseling requirements.

Undergraduate program:

>Mildly/Moderately Handicapped K-12
(may be combined with another major for a double endorsement)
