Qualifications for Membership Membership in Sigma Beta Delta is limited to those students of high scholarship and good moral character. Students inducted are classified as seniors and in the top 20% of their academic class. Honorary members are individuals who have distinguished themselves in the practice of business, management or administration.
$50 one time fee
Description The purpose of Sigma Beta Delta is to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management, and administration; and to encourage and promote aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.

Qualifications for Membership Fulltime students with a 2.5 or higher GPA, working toward a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, must have leadership ability, and must have at least two active semesters left.

Description Professional business fraternity which brings students of business closer to the commercial world. Provides social grace, poise and confidence necessary for success in the business world. The International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi provides a Scholarship Key to be awarded to the highest ranking business graduate each year.

Qualifications for Membership Any student with a strong interest in business. Must be a business major or minor.
Fees $35.00 a year for new members; $30.00 a year for returning members
Description Professional business organization in conjunction with its high school affiliate, Future Business Leaders of America. Promotes service, education, and leadership in a business atmosphere. State and national competitions and conferences held in the fall, spring, and summer.

Fees $60.00 one-time national dues, no local dues or fees.
Description Business education honorary designed to reward and encourage academic achievement, as well as to provide educational, professional, and social activities appropriate for business teachers. This group sponsors and hosts the annual Business Competition Day event on the Wayne State campus.
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

Description Undergraduate professional student organization in human resources, designed to foster professional growth through activities, speakers, tours, and other Human Resources related projects.
SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise)

Qualifications for Membership Open to anyone interested in promoting the free enterprise system.

Description The main goal of the organization is for participants to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise. Past projects have included making presentations in area schools, running businesses on campus and traveling to leadership conferences and regional competitions.
