BSEC - Accreditation

The North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools accredits Wayne State College at the undergraduate and graduate level. The College is a member of the the Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the Council of Graduate Schools in the United States.

Wayne State College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education(IACBE), Olathe, Kansas.  The business programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:

• Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Advertising, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing, Office Administration and Public Accounting
• Master of Business Administration

The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) is a professional accreditor for business programs in student-centered colleges and universities throughout the world.  The IACBE exists to promote, develop, and recognize excellence in business education.

The IACBE’s philosophy of accreditation is centered on student learning and operational outcomes, which makes it flexible and adaptable.
