BSEC - Advertising Minor

The Advertising minor is a complementary area which exposes students to basic business concepts. The minor also helps to prepare students for advanced degrees in business. The Advertising minor is available to only non-business majors.

A minor must include a minimum of 12 hours unduplicated by the student’s major(s).

This minor is not available to Business Administration majors.

BUS 370 Principles of Marketing (3)

BUS 374 Principles of Advertising (3)

BUS 475 Consumer Purchasing and Motivation (3)

BUS 479 Advertising Plans/Campaign (3)

CNA 301 Advertising Copywriting (3)

CNA 374 Public Relations (3)

 

Plus 3 hours electives selected from the following:

CNA 379 Broadcast Management (3)

CNA 453 Integrated Marketing Communication (3)

ITE 425 Desktop Publishing (3)
