WSC Marching Band

 

The Wildcat Marching Band gets the fall semester started with a bang by arriving a few days before school begins to work on the first show of the season. The marching band is comprised of a large number of instruments from piccolos to sousaphones, with a Flag Corps, Dance Team, and Twirler adding color and visual effect. Corps style marching predominates, with special marching effects added for a contemporary look and feel. The Wildcat Band provides entertainment at all home football contests and performs on numerous venues off-campus, including high school exhibitions and road football games.  Most recently, the band has traveled to Minneapolis to perform in Minneapolis Metrodome Classic. This ensemble also marches in the annual WSC Band Day and  Homecoming parades.
