The Wayne State College Cavalcade of Bands is a field competition for High School Bands, which takes place in October each fall.  Cavalcade of Bands 2008 will be on Saturday, October 18 beginning at 5:00 pm. All participating bands are provided with written and verbal feedback from four judges in the areas of Marching Execution, Music Execution, Marching Effect and Music Effect and given a rating of I through V.  Bands receiving a I rating will be presented with a trophy provided by Midwest Music Center.  The general public is encouraged to attend and enjoy the entertainment provided by these fine high school bands.
