"2002 Study Abroad Program in Costa Rica"
Imagine
learning Spanish
on a tropical beach as waves from the
Pacific Ocean roll in,
hiking through a jungle where white-faced monkeys
and toucans abound,
getting to know new friends in their language instead
of your own,
living in a different place, trying new foods and
discovering favorite hangouts.
Below are pictures taken during the 2002 WSC Costa Rica Program.
The 19 participants in the program were in Costa Rica between
June 3 and July 3. Students lived with Costa Rican families
and took Spanish language and Hispanic civilization classes
taught by a WSC professor. For more information about the
Costa Rica Program, contact Dr.
Adolfo Cacheiro.
