For incoming freshmen, eligible students are those who have achieved an ACT score of 25 or higher (or an SAT score of 1100 or higher), and who have graduated from high school with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Alternately, freshmen who rank in the upper one-fourth of their graduating class, provide a sample of their written work, and have a strong recommendation from a high school instructor can also be considered. For students already enrolled at WSC, or who are transferring to WSC from another institution, eligible students are those who have achieved a college grade point average of 3.3 or higher, and provide a sample of their written work as well as a letter of recommendation from a faculty member and their academic advisor.
