Cheryl Meier
English Composition

 

C.A. Meier is a novelist and essayist who grew up in northeast Nebraska. She received her BA in Education from Kearney State College (Kearnery, NE), and her MS in Education from Wayne State College. Before the joining the faculty at Wayne State as an adjunct English professor in 1991, she taught in public schools at Orchard, NE, where she resides, and also at Ewing, NE.

 

A working writer, Cheryl completed her first novel, SOJOURNERS, as her master's thesis. She also writes an occasional column for her local paper. Since completing her thesis, she has completed three other novel manuscripts, one screen play, is currently working on a fourth, and has written an auto-biographical work about her survival of co-dependency tentatively titled, CINDERELLA'S SLIPPER. Her teaching interests are in early English and American literature with a special focus on regional writers and poets.
