Visitor Information

Fred G. Dale Planetarium is located in the basement of the Carhart Science building on the Wayne State College campus. [see map]

Enter Carhart Science through the Southwest doors.  Once inside, head to the stairs at the south end of the building and go all the way down to the basement.  You may also take the elevator to the basement.  Carhart Science and the planetarium are handicap accessible.

For the public showings on Friday nights, parking is available at all lots but please do no park in the 15 minute or handicap spots (unless you have appropriate permission).  For a private group showing during the weekday, you may park in the visitor parking spots, lot 10, or at a nearby location just off-campus.  All locations are at most a 10 minute walk to Carhart Science.
