Students registered for NSO and living on campus may begin checking into their rooms on Friday, August 16 after 9am. Students NOT registered for NSO and upper-class students may move in on Sunday, August 18 after 12pm

New Beginnings Lunch Buffet
The New Beginnings Lunch Buffet will be Friday, August 16 from 11:00am-2:30pm in the Student Center. All new students and family members are invited to the buffet. The buffet provides an opportunity for students and families to exchange a final farewell before NSO activities begin. The NSO fee includes the cost of the buffet for the students only. Family members or other guests may purchase a buffet ticket for $10 (no charge for children younger than five). Please indicate the number of guest tickets on the registration form.

Open Session for Students and Families
The New Student Orientation Program begins with a convocation opening session for new students and their families on Friday, August 16 at 3:00pm in Rice Auditorium. This session will celebrate the launch of a new academic year with you being inducted into the Wayne State College family. A welcome will be given by administration of Wayne State College and the City of Wayne community leaders.
