For those of you who were unable to make it back to Wayne for Homecoming, we had fantastic weather during Wayne State College's Homecoming and birthday party at the end of September. It was great to see people strolling down the J.G.W. Lewis pedestrian walkway in the heart of campus making their way to tour the Carhart Science Building's renovated third-floor chemistry labs, view the refurbished Fred G. Dale Planetarium, watch and listen to the WSC Marching Band salute WSC's milestone birthday, or enjoy some birthday cake. A Centennial birthday! Can you believe your alma mater is 100 years old? It has been so much fun to celebrate this milestone throughout the past year. Thank you to all of you who have helped us celebrate and given us reasons to celebrate. Your campus has had some exciting changes.

Alumni Relations - Foundation
Some things that have not changed are the annual alumni reunions, Homecoming and golf events. Next year's Omaha Golf will be July 16, Dakota Dunes will be Aug. 22 and Homecoming will be October 6-9. With the help of Don and Diane Soukup, we are planning an alumni tour to Vietnam from Oct. 20 to Nov. 2. Please watch the Web site for more details. We will soon begin our annual phonathon and WSC students will be calling you to update your contact information, share campus happenings, and ask you to consider making a donation to Wayne State College. We are very grateful for your continued support and pride in WSC.
Please check our Web site at www.wsc.edu/alumni for information on upcoming events and reunions and photos of past reunions. We would enjoy learning what is happening in your life so we can share it in the "alumni notes" section of our publications, and if you include photos, then that is even better. Just go to www.wsc.edu/alumni and click on the "Alumni Updates" link. You will find the Facebook link on that same page. Please continue to stay in touch; we love to hear from you.
If you are back on campus, please stop by our office, Hahn Room 306, or call me at (402) 375-7209. Come, visit and experience the excitement of campus first hand.
