'Tacky Landscapes of Popular Culture' Coming March 3 Published: 2-26-2010 2:55 pm WAYNE, Neb. (Feb. 25, 2010) -- Charles F. Gritzner, Distinguished Professor of Geography at South Dakota State University, will present "Tacky Landscapes of Popular Culture," at 3:30 p.m. March 3 in Connell Hall Room 131 on the Wayne State College campus.
Gritzner's presentation of slides will feature different and changing landscapes, as well as showcase those created and altered by humans in a humorous light. Gritzner's illustrated presentation will also be filled with fun and interesting facts about different landscapes around the nation.
This presentation is sponsored by the international honor society in social sciences, Pi Gamma Mu, and is free and open to the public.
