Eggers won the North Region Outdoor Championships at Purdue University; placed tenth at National Indoor Championships at Michigan State University; placed third at North Region Indoor Championships; and placed fifth at the National Outdoor Championships held at James Madison University.

Redding, from Elgin, Neb., was named North All-Region in the women's Compound Division. Redding placed seventeenth at the National Indoor Championships; fourth at North Region Indoor Championships; and fourth at North Region Outdoor Championships.

Rossell, from Winnebago, Neb., took third place and Broomfield, from McCook, Neb., won fourth place in the men's Compound Division at North Region Outdoor Championships.

Eggers also won a spot to represent Team USA at the 2011 World University Games Aug. 10-19 in Shenzhen, China. Eggers will compete on the women's Compound Team along with members of the men's Compound, women's Recurve and men's Recurve teams.

WSC's Archery Club team also includes Jordan Brooks, Curtis Hinrichs, Kai Friis-Hansen, Ryan Robotham, Wes Prater, Jessica Pierce and Josh Yuetter. Mark Eggers coaches the team and Derek Anderson serves as advisor. The club is a member of United States Collegiate Archery (USCA) and supports Wayne State College archers, including student athletes on the competition team, recreational shooters and bowhunters.
