South Sioux City Information Night Published: 11-10-2010 2:50 pm Students interested in completing their bachelor's degree at the new College Center in South Sioux City are invited to an information night on November 19 from 3-7 p.m. The information session will be held at the South Sioux City Education Center at 3309 Daniels Lane.
The session will include information about the programs and courses available, starting in January 2011. Wayne State College will be offering programs in business, education and criminal justice at the College Center. Wayne State College staff will be on hand to assist students with the application process and answer questions about costs and financial aid.
The College Center is a collaborative effort of Wayne State College and Northeast Community College. The Center provides an opportunity for students to earn associates and baccalaureate degrees without having to relocate or commute to the Wayne or Norfolk campuses. Customized training for businesses and industry, continuing education, licensing programs, and career and technical training will also be available at the College Center.
The College Center, located along Highway 77 near Wal-Mart, is slated to open in the spring of 2011.
