Mary Carstens, Learning Skills Specialist

Mary Carstens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science and a Masters degree in Counseling, both from Wayne State College. Mary began as an adjunct instructor with the Learning Center in the fall of 1995, while also teaching in the Social Science division. Currently, as a learning skills specialist, she teaches Succeeding in College, Choosing Academic Success, Speed Reading, Vocabulary Development, ESL Writing/Reading Skills and assists at the Writing Help Desk.
