Another phishing attempt

Just wanted to provide a reminder about the dangers of phishing attempts via email. These are attempts to gather your username, password or other personal information via an e-mail designed to fool you into thinking that it is from a person or entity you trust.
We did have a flurry of phishing e-mails arrive on campus last night with the subject of "UPDATE YOUR MAIL ACCOUNT". This did not originate from our office, nor should you respond to it in any way. It is safe to delete this message. The e-mail should have been placed in your Junk Mail folder. In the event that it wasn't, or if you happen to enjoy parsing through your Junk Mail, we simply wanted to send a reminder.
Thanks all for your vigilance in this regard.
