Technology help for students

I was dropping off fliers for the dorms with instructions for students on
how to contact the help desk as well as connection instructions for wireless and
Cable TV and Lesa Jensen pointed out that other offices on campus might like to
have the fliers in hand or posted as well (great thought, Lesa!!).
We've published the PDF for both fliers on our help sheet page here
Please feel free to view, print, distribute, disseminate, hang, highlight and
otherwise use at your discretion.
The first flier lists help desk contact information and hours.
The second flier leads students for our instructions on setting up wireless
devices and cable TV. You'll noticed that the page is rendered specifically for
mobile and can be accessed via a QR code so that students can use it from their
smart phones without typing in the URL, which is: http://go.wsc.edu/wscwireless
You may find the Cable TV information at that site useful if you have a TV
in your office area. Please note that we are still in the middle of
implementation of the new wireless system. Eventually, the instructions
provided on this wireless page will also apply in administrative and academic
buildings, but for now they only apply to residence halls. As we migrate other
buildings onto the new system we'll be sure to communicate those changes and
provide similar fliers so you can access the documentation.
