SAP upgrade e-mails

Greetings all,
Many of you have received e-mails requesting that you upgrade your SAP
client software. Not all of you would have received it, but for those of you
that did, this is a legit e-mail. The instructions for WSC are somewhat
different, however, and we've prepackaged the SAP client upgrade for you. The
instructions are below. If you have any issues with the upgrade instructions
provided here, please do call the helpdesk at 7107.
Again, if you did NOT receive an SAP client upgrade notice, then you can
ignore this :)

Windows XP
To install the GUI you need to run the following:
Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Applications -> Install
SAP GUI 7.40
This will not cause a restart when completed, nor give you a notice that
it's completed. You'll just see the black box disappear and it should be
finished.
Windows 7
Start -> All Programs -> Software Available to Install.
In the list you should see "SAP Netweaver GUI 7.40 - update". *Note there
is also "SAP Netweaver GUI 7.40 - Install" This is for computers that have never
had the SAP Netweaver GUI before. Please use the one labeled update.
