We've been experiencing a couple of load related issues with wireless,
particularly in the library, over the last few days. This afternoon we were
seeing issues again, but without any evidence of the load we had experienced
before, so we knew that something additional was amiss.
In order to resolve the issue, we restarted the Cisco gear that manages the
campus wireless network. The system failed to boot again due to a bad hard
drive. We're working with Cisco to obtain a replacement as quickly as we
possibly can and get the system operational again.
Our apologies for the serious inconvenience during finals week and rest
assured that we will work until the issue is resolved.
Thanks for your patience.
