"Phone system upgrades"

Greetings,

This evening we will be upgrading the campus IP phone system. The IP phone system is the main phone system for everywhere on campus with the exception of the residence halls. We have a primary and a secondary IP node that we will upgrade. During the upgrade we should not experience any downtime as the traffic from the primary node will roll to the secondary node. We may experience a little flutter, but likely not a great deal.

We have been experiencing phone system issues lately and it is our hope that this firmware upgrade will help restore the system to it's normal state of always being available. We will start at 9:05 PM with the firmware upgrade and should be complete shortly after midnight.
