"Network issues"

Greetings,

 

Some of you may have noticed some minor intermittent issues with connecting to servers today, particularly the itanium. It took a bit to isolate the problem but it would appear that we discovered a bug in Windows XP that is date related and only surfaced since this weekend. We have implemented a workaround and if you shut your PC was shut down overnight (or if you reboot it), you shouldn't experience the issue any longer.
