Greetings,
This will be another busy week for NATS staff as it relates to more technology moves from the LL of Hahn (dungeon) to the new Campus Services building. Starting tomorrow afternoon (June 3) at approximately 4:30 P.M. we will move the following:
- Printing
- Groupwise
- Novell delivered desktop applications (red icons)
- Webfocus
Some of the above only affect a few users and others like Groupwise affect everyone. We will keep the downtime to a very minimum. Likely it will last until 6:30 P.M.
On Wednesday, June 4, we will move SA-DATA which is for Chartwells and the Foundation as well as a few miscellaneous J: drives. This move will be in the morning and will be coordinated with those directly affected by the move. In the evening we will move all G: drives and non academic J: drives.
That should be it for now, but could change at any moment as we will likely not move much in a rain.
I will send out more information sometime tomorrow relative to the rest of the week.
