Greetings,
This Saturday, May 17, we will be moving some of our technology equipment to the new building. We plan to move all of our system routers. That will momentarily affect Internet traffic both on and off campus. There will be a number of brief moments when the service will be momentarily affected. This will be an ongoing activity between 6 A.M. and 2 P.M.
We will also be moving the voice mail system starting at 7 A.M. and will be finished about 9 A.M. the same day. At that time campus voice mail will be down. The phone system will be operational during this voice mail outage.
Earlier this week we moved one side of the phone system. The phone system is redundant and we had few problems other than one side of the system was accidentally shut off. There was a very brief interruption of phone service at that time. We apologize for that mistake and will be sure that when we move the other half of the phone system Saturday that we will not make the same mistake.
