Greetings,
This afternoon at 4:30 PM we will be rebooting the analog side of the campus phone system. The analog side of the phone system serves the elevators, the parking lot phones, residence hall phones, and faxes on campus. The reboot time is approximately 10 minutes. This is a required activity and likely we will have another reboot time some time in the next 10 days.
The road construction on campus has allowed us to upgrade the analog side of the phone system. The current cabling for the analog side is not in the tunnel system and will likely soon be disrupted by the road construction. Therefore we are replacing it entirely this summer and hope to have it completed in the next 10 days.
