Question: The RFP states in “3.1.5: RFP Response Contents: Original Proposal, One electronic copy, One electronic copy without any proprietary information, suitable for responses to public records request after the contract has been awarded.” Would you rather the electronic copy be emailed or be sent in the mail with the original document on a USB drive or CD?
Answer: Postal mail.
Question: What internal project support do you have for this project, specifically for testing and content migration?
Answer: We will have partial FTE available from IT, College Relations and the content editor pool. We have no full time FTE allocated for testing and content migration.
Question: Does Wayne State have development staff that will need to support the system post-implementation? Is it Wayne State’s intention to have this internal team build out a redesigned/redeveloped site from the initial delivery of configured CMS software?
Answer: It is WSC’s intent to have the internal team collaborate with available resources from the contractor to build out the new site. WSC desires its internal resources to be very familiar with the built environment and capable of long term management, but does anticipate respondents providing proposals with optional or value add implementation services.
Question: Who are the top two major project stakeholders in this project?
Answer: College Relations and IT
Question: What does the current CMS server infrastructure look like for the Wayne State site/systems?
Answer: Answered in section 7
Question: Do you have a preference between agile and waterfall project methodologies?
Question: What rating level of 508 compliance is required? Who will be responsible for running compliance scans of the new website? What software is currently used to determine compliance?
Answer: Answered in a previously posted Q & A.
Question: Will the University provide a brand standards guide for any new design effort?
