International "Iron Chef" Cook-Off

This project is designed to be an interactive cultural learning experience for WSC students living in the Residence Halls. The International "Iron Chef" Cook-Off is comprised of teams of 3-5 members who will prepare a dessert and entree from a country other than their own. They will be judged on flavor, aroma, cultural presentation/information, and presentation of the meal.

The show will begin at 8:00 pm in the lower cafeteria on April 13, 2005.
$350 worth of prizes will be given away!

The details for the International "Iron Chef" Cook-Off are:

• Teams (3-5 members) will need to sign up in advance with Kristen Anderson - 6070, Kyle Prososki - 6508, or Carissa Kollath -7486 and choose a team captain who will be contacted later for a meeting.

• Teams must sign up by April 1st.

• Cooking will start at 5 pm in Benthack on April 13th and it must be prepared by 7:30 and the show will start in the lower cafeteria at 8 pm.

• You will be making an entree and a dessert from a different country other than your own.

• You will have a display table where you will be judged on plate presentation, information about the meal you cooked, as well as if you
  have any artifacts from that country/culture.
