International Dinner

Campus and community members enjoyed the second event in the "Around the World in 180 Days" program. They had the opportunity to come early to the dinner and see the Art Across Borders Exhibit. After seeing the art, they settled down to an International Dinner prepared by Chartwells and learned about other cultures from the presentations being offered. This dinner was different than the International Club's usual offering and wss designed to be more educational in nature. Partial support for this project was provided by the U.S. Department of State, through a grant from the Cooperative Grants Program of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. The Annual International Dinner and Entertainment Night was still offered in the spring.

When: September 15, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Frey Conference Room (located in the Student Center on the WSC Campus)

Cost: $5.00 per person

       prayers/invocations said before meals
  — Background music from a variety of countries played during meal
  — Presentations about different countries/cultures
  — Fashions from different countries/cultures
