This project is designed to enhance and increase the knowledge of WSC students, and the local and regional community members, in international concerns. A series of programs will explore cultural and cross-cultural communication, experiential learning about other cultures through presentations and other means, and opportunities for interactive learning. Partial support for this project has been provided by the U.S. Department of State, through a grant from the Cooperative Grants Program of NAFSA: Association of International Educators.

Project Objectives:

  • Increase the opportunities for WSC students and members of the Wayne community to learn about different countries, cultures, and international issues.
  • Increase the opportunity for interaction between international students at WSC and WSC students/community members.
  • Increase cognition of different countries, cultures, and international issues of WSC students and members of the Wayne community.
  • Increase the appreciation for other countries and cultures.
