Administrative Holiday Schedule
The State of Nebraska requires that state agencies observe twelve holidays each year. In many agencies, time off is taken on the actual date of each holiday. The State recognizes the unusual nature of educational institutions, however, and allows observation of the holidays to be shifted to alternative dates. The twelve holidays recognized by the State are listed below.
-Labor Day
-Thanksgiving Day
-New Year's Day
-Arbor Day* |
-Columbus Day*
-Day After Thanksgiving
-Martin Luther King Day*
-Memorial Day |
-Veteran's Day*
-Christmas Day
-President's Day*
-Independence Day |
