Wayne State College is authorized to grant  four graduate degrees:

 

 

 

Master of Science in Education (MSE)

The School of Education and Counseling at WSC offers a Master of Science in
Education (MSE) degree to meet the needs of diverse groups of graduate
students. The School of Education and Counseling collaborates with other
academic programs to offer the following areas of emphasis within the
parameters of a MSE degree. The MSE program combines the study of
professional education with various areas of emphasis such as counseling,
curriculum and instruction, special education, school administration, and physical

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The MBA is a professional graduate degree designed primarily to provide an
intense educational experience for students who desire to assume positions of
increasing responsibility in business.

Education Specialist (Ed.S.)

The Education Specialist degree prepares qualified students for leadership
positions in education and meets the endorsement requirements for all general
administrative and supervisory capacities in Nebraska schools.

 

 

 

Master of Science in Organizational Management (MSOM)

Master of Science in Organizational Management (MSOM) Degree

 

The MSOM degree has been collaboratively designed by the three State Colleges (Wayne State College [WSC], Chadron State College [CSC], Peru State College [PSC]) and will substantially use courses currently offered by the State Colleges. Some courses are available online. The proposed program is a cooperative degree program whereby students in the State College System may complete graduate courses at any of the Nebraska State Colleges and apply those credits toward completion of their MSOM degree. This program is a value-added degree designed to add new knowledge to the students' base of knowledge, skills and concept integration.
