You could be eligible for a deferment.

Are you unemployed? Do you qualify for Economic Hardship? Are you a student with at least a half time status? See the section on deferments

You could be eligible for forbearance.

Your loan could be cancelled.

Do you work in a field full time that would allow your loan to be forgiven instead of having to make payments? Have you considered consolidation?

Consolidation allows you to simplify the repayment process by combining your education loans into one loan. You will only make one payment, the interest rate may be lower, and the payment amount may be lower.
