Cost | Miscellaneous Costs

Students should be prepared to pay Miscellaneous Costs as noted below in addition to Tuition and Fees.

BOOKS & SUPPLIES

Textbooks typically cost an average of $550 per semester. Books are purchased separately and available through the WSC Bookstore.  If you have excess Financial Aid, you may be eligible to purchase your books five days before classes begin and during the first two days of classes each semester and have the charges applied to your student account.

IDENTIFICATION CARD

Each student is provided a WSC Photo ID Card for use in the U.S. Conn Library, Dining Hall, Cats Corner, Jitters, Recreation Center and for campus activities. The ID Card should be kept by the student from year to year. Student ID photos are taken during summer registration and issued by Business Services during the first part of the semester. Replacement ID Cards can be obtained from Business Services at a cost of $15.00 per replacement card.

PARKING PERMIT

Parking permit is $40 per year. Temporary permits are available at no cost, for vehicles driven less than a week or two. Parking Regulations and Policies.

FEES FOR SPECIFIC COURSES

Students registering in some courses may be assessed a course, lab or lesson fee. These fees are generally charged for private music lessons, science laboratory courses, etc.. These fees are included on your Billing Statement and should be paid along with your tuition and fees.
