WSC | Dana College Transfer Students

We are saddened with the recent news of the impending closing of Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. We want you to know we share your sadness as you were undoubtedly very excited about your post-secondary choice.

We also want you to know we’re here to help.

We are currently assisting current and future Dana students transfer to Wayne State.

To facilitate the process, we are waiving our $30 application fee.

TO APPLY

Incoming Freshmen:

Complete the online application. You will need to create an account on our admissions portal, New2WSC. All communication regarding your application will be sent via e-mail.

Send high school transcripts

Incoming freshmen: send high school transcripts

Upperclassmen: send Dana transcripts. To expedite the transfer process, we will evaluate unofficial transcripts.

Send official ACT/SAT test scores (test scores may be taken from your high school transcript if provided)

Upperclassmen:

Complete the online application. You will need to create an account on our admissions portal, New2WSC. All communication regarding your application will be sent via e-mail.

Send all official college transcripts. To expedite the transfer process, we will evaluate unofficial Dana transcripts.

A Special Note for Juniors and Seniors

Wayne State already has a generous transfer policy. But, we are making it easier for Dana College students with a junior or senior standing to transfer their credits to Wayne State.

Dana College students who will be juniors or seniors and have completed Dana’s general education requirements will be allowed to transfer in these credits as a whole.

This means juniors and seniors transferring this fall will not need to take additional general education courses as long as they have completed Dana’s general education requirements

REGISTERING FOR FALL CLASSES

New student registration dates are July 8, July 9 and August 6. You may register for one of these dates online.

If you cannot make any of these dates, please call the Admissions office at 866-972-2287 to make arrangements.
