College Representative 1986-1990, Secretary to Executive
Board, 1991 to 1995).
NAFSA: Nebraska Chapter of International Student
Advisors Association (1982-1997) (Small college representative
to Advisory Board, 1994-1997).
Haven House Domestic Violence Program: Wayne,
Nebraska (served as a member of Board of Directors from
1987-1991)
Nebraska ACT Council: Professional association
providing liaison between Nebraska colleges, universities
and ACT. Served as an active member since 1990; was elected
President-Elect in 1997, President in 1998 and served
as Past President of the ACT Council in 1999.
WSC Student Admission and Retention Committee (SAR):
Review student academic appeals and make recommendations
regarding policies effecting students (1998-present).
WSC Institutional Review Board (IRB): Originally
called the Human Subjects Review Committee, this group
was later reorganized as the IRB. Serve as a research
reviewer to help insure ethical standards in WSC research
(1998-present).
Professional Staff Senate: Initiated founding
of a professional staff organization at WSC. The Senate
represents WSC professional staff to the campus and administration.
Elected chair of the Professional Staff Senate 2002-03,
re-elected chair in 2003-04.
Nebraska Counseling Association Ethics Committee:
Served as a member of the Ethics Committee of the
Nebraska Counseling Association 2003-04, Vice-Chair
in 2004-05.
