Sending a letter to parents of those turning 21 warning
of birthday bar crawls and “power hours”,
see example. SADD already sends a postcard to the college
student having the 21st birthday. Nearly 300 students
turn 21 between September and April.
“The Wayne Stater” agreed to run social norm
data from the leisure study done several years ago in
their filler space.
Lance Webster and Jessica Benoit of the Wayne Police Department
and Karen Granberg and Kathy Mohlfeld of the Counseling
Center will be attending the “Creating environmental
change” alcohol and drug problems workshops offered
by The Network in February. A follow-up workshop is being
offered in April and others are welcome to attend.

Wildcat Wheels is co-sponsoring with SAB to bring the
drunk driving simulator to campus this semester. More
details to follow at next meeting.
We will be running cabs on St. Patrick’s Night,
which is a Friday this year.
