The alcohol “death wall”, donated by Melissa Silvers to the Counseling Center, is now being displayed at Hartington Public High School by MADD.
Preparations are being made for the Core Alcohol & Drug Survey in 2005 by the Counseling Center to survey approximately 600 students for the 15th year.
Cassandra Johnson is doing her Honors Program presentation on “College Student Alcohol Issues: A Comparative Analysis of WSC and Peer Institutions”; December 8 at 4:30 p.m. in Connell Hall 131. Jason Karsky was her faculty advisor on the project. Johnson found that WSC students surveyed wanted more drugs at parties and that WSC students rank above most of the peer institutions looked at regarding alcohol use.
