Most enjoyable activity: The typical student
rates his/her most enjoyable activity as one that does not
include binge drinking (86%)
Limit setting: The typical student limits
alcohol to four or fewer drinks at a time (51% set a limit
of four or fewer including 13% who abstain from alcohol)
Personal choice: The typical student does
not let peers influence his/her use of alcohol or other
chemicals (53% report that there has not been a time they
let peers influence their usage)
Drug free: The typical student is drug
free (91% report no use of street drugs in a typical month)
Most common activity with peers: The typical
student is three times more likely to attend an activity
with peers involving no alcohol or some alcohol
Campus, community church, family and other informal
gatherings: The typical student attends four or
more of these gatherings with no alcohol in a typical month
(57%)
More activities wanted: The typical student
would like to have one-three more activities available each
month (58%)
