SAVE Coalition Meeting Minutes Monday July 12, 2004

In attendance: Jason Mrsny, Samantha Wolfe, Tanya Mitchell,
Jamie Paulson, and Michelle Meyer

Minutes of the June meeting were read and approved as read.

Jason, Jamie and Michelle discussed highlights of the past CALCASA they attended in Minneapolis in June.

There was a discussion regarding the upcoming RA training and orientation for new students planned for later in July and August. Including the presentations planned by Todd Denny. Tanya suggested trying to reach the fall sport athletes who will be on campus earlier than the rest of the students in August, for education on the SAVE topics.

Policies and procedures have been sent to the SAVE Coalition membership for review and feedback.

Jamie and Michelle continue to try to access and complete the semi-annual progress report on-line reporting form, which is to be submitted by the end of July.

Samantha reported on Bright Horizons contact with the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce regarding their possible support of the Vagina Monologues, Samantha showed the V-Day video and fielded numerous questions at the Chamber meeting she attended. They will decide at their next meeting about sponsorship of this project.

There will not be a SAVE Coalition Meeting in August the next meeting will September 20th
