Academic Advising

The Counseling Center staff helps those students unsure of their academic major and career directions to select appropriate classes and explore career alternatives. Each undeclared student will be assigned an academic advisor by the Advising Center. Students who have a major but are not sure about their decision may elect to visit with one of the undeclared advisors about choices open to them.

Undeclared - there are approximately 300 students at Wayne State College that are in the process of selecting their majors (Link is to Advising Services Site).

Advising Handbook
- Academic advising materials are updated each year for accurate advising assistance (Link is to Advising Services Site).

STRIDE - Specialized advising for students enrolled in Trio programs.

Learning Center - Academic support services including academic counseling, advising, and tutoring.
