GET INVOLVED

Please join WSC and the community of Wayne to work collectively with hundreds of communities and higher education institutions throughout the nation who are also participating in service projects that will extend through the 2011-12 school year. The goal is to build friendships, understanding and collaboration amongst people with diverse perspectives and belief sets by serving together to meet the needs of their communities. Additional activities are planned and will include Mercy Meal packaging, featured film screenings at the Majestic Theatre, a series of community roundtable discussions to answer questions about shared and different belief sets and values addressing “Why We Serve,” a Health, Wellness & Resource Fair, “brown bag” presentations at WSC during the lunch hour, and a spring semester community wide gently used sale.  For more information about CCSC activities/projects please become a friend on our facebook page.

We are open to adding projects, events, presentations and speakers throughout the year.
